Endo Hiroshi Profile

 

Endo Hiroshi,born in Osaka in 1961,studied piano at Osaka College of Music and conducting at the Toho Gakuen School of Music under Ozawa Seiji,Otaka Tadaaki,Akiyama Kazuyoshi etc.

Until now,He performed as a guest conductor with Gunma Symphony Orchestra, Kansai Philharmonic Orchestra, Tokyo Newcity Orchestra, Tokyo Choral Society and so on.

Endo Hiroshi was the first Japanese to conduct Sir Paul McCartney's classical work "The Liverpool Oratorio" and Estonian composer Eduard Tubin's great work "Sinfonia Lilica".

He was also chosen to conduct the Savaria Symphonie Orchestre for the final concert of the Bartok International Seminar in Hungary in 1996.

A much acclaimed concert with the Sinsei Nihon Symphony Orchestra(Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra) followed in 1999 and with the English Chamber Orchestra followed in 2004 at the Barbican in London.

Endo Hiroshi is a conductor of the Tokyo Choral Society and the member of the Japan Federation of Musicians.
